Fallbrook, CA (October 3, 2023) A motorcyclist was killed on Sunday, October 1st, after he rear-ended a truck in Fallbrook. Officers suspect alcohol or drugs were a factor in this collision. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place shortly after 10:00 p.m. in the area Morro Street and Alvarado Street.
Authorities said a 33-year-old man was riding a white Harley Davidson in the east lane of Alvarado Street. A silver Dodge Ram 1500 was driving on the road directly in front of him. For reasons still unknown, the motorcyclist didn’t slow down, but instead rear-ended the Dodge.

The impact forced both the Dodge and the motorcycle to collide with several parked vehicles. Emergency crews arrived to find the motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, but later died from his injuries. The truck driver wasn’t hurt in the accident.
California Highway Patrol said in a press release that they believe the motorcyclist may have been intoxicated.
