Stanislaus County, CA (September 29, 2023) 3 people are dead following a DUI collision in Stanislaus County on Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. 49-year-old Wyatt Ervin Gordon was the only survivor and arrested for DUI. The crash happened on Highway 132 shortly after 7:30 a.m.

Fire Officials said two people were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extracted. They were rushed to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, where they later died from their injuries.
The California Highway Patrol said that Gordon was driving a Lexus sedan at a high rate of speed when he swerved to the left. The vehicle went into the westbound lane of traffic and collided with a Hyundai sedan. The Lexus flipped and landed in a field north of Highway 132.
Gordon was the only survivor and was arrested at the scene for driving under the influence.
