(Malibu, California) On Saturday, at approximately 7 a.m., a Malibu vehicle crash caused by a teenager driving a Range Rover, struck a parked vehicle where the long-time chef was inside of.
The Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s office confirmed that Ryo Uchimiya suffered blunt-force injuries. According to the surveillance camera, the range-rover, driven by the teenager, struck Uchimiya’s parked vehicle, causing the parked vehicle to collide with another vehicle.
Based on reports, the Range Rover was driven by a 16-year-old boy who was driving at least 50 mph and swerving through the fog line. Shortly after, he struck a parked vehicle. It is unclear why he was swerving.
The teenager was actually leased from an infamous English composer, Harry Gregson-Williams. It is unclear if the teenager has any connection to the composer.
The teenager did not show any impairment in driving under the influence.

Because the teenager did not show any signs of impairment, it’s possible that investigators may review punishments in relation to reckless driving. They may also review the vehicular homicide law code since the teenager killed the chef.
Investigators may review California Vehicle Code 23103 in regard to the 16-year-old potentially facing serious consequences for recklessly driving. Under this code, if the driver is guilty of driving recklessly, they can face 90 days in a county jail and a fine of $1,000.
The teenager may also be charged with vehicular homicide under California Penal Code 192 that resulted in the killing of another person while driving. Under this law code, if someone drives in an unlawful manner that results in death, they committed vehicular homicide.
Because the teenager violated California Penal Code 192 (1) ( C ), under California Penal Code 193, the teenager could face serious punishments by getting imprisoned in a state prison for two to six years. The teenager can face imprisonment in the state prison for up to 10 years.
