(Lake Forest, California) Joel Obed MendezCamargo, 22 years old, is charged after causing a collision while allegedly under the influence of alcohol. Orange County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the collision occurred on El Toro Road and Via Ridgeline Road on Thursday at around 9:40 p.m. The collision resulted in Christopher Dougherty, 73, fatal death.
He was charged with Gross Vehicle Manslaughter while being intoxicated.
