(Scottsdale, Arizona) Scottsdale police officers were reported on a two truck collision involving two trucks around 9:20 a.m., August 7th, at Pima and Pinnacle Peak roads.
Two trucks collided onto each other with one towing a trailer. Scottsdale Police confirmed that the collision caused the trailer to flip, causing some road blocks on the Pima and Pinnacle Peak roads. The road is now clear.
Scottsdale Police confirmed that one is in life-threatening conditions, while the other died at the hospital. Three other people involved were treated on scene. The deceased individual has not been identified.

In (A) it states that if a person drives the wrong way in a controlled access highway, commits wrong way driving. (B) also states that if a person is found responsible for this violation, they are subject to a civil penalty of $500.

Regarding “wrong way”, (D) section refers to vehicular movement that’s in direction opposing the legal flow of traffic. Wrong way does not mean median crossing or a collision where a motor vehicle stops while facing the wrong way.
