Fontana, CA (August 18, 2023) – A multi-vehicle truck accident in Fontana on Friday, August 18th, resulted in the damage of 2 semi-truck and two vehicles. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place in the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 at approximately 5:23 a.m.
The vehicles involved included a white semi-truck, a blue semi-truck, a white Subaru sedan, and a gray Toyota Tundra.

The chain of events started when the Subaru the white truck collided. The truck lost control and struck the center divide of the interstate, ending up on top of the guard rail and blocking traffic in both directions. Both vehicles were stuck in place. The other vehicles than collided with the semi-truck blocking the lanes.
No information has been released about potential injuries, but multiple traffic lanes were closed for about two hours and about 60 feet of guardrail was destroyed.
