Lancaster, CA (July 10, 2024) An accident occurred in the late evening on Tuesday, July 9. There was a crash between a semi-truck and another vehicle on 20th Street East and Avenue E in Lancaster. Both drivers were injured.
It’s unclear what happened to cause the collision. When California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene, they discovered the female driver of the car was severely injured. Footage shows officers tending to her on the side of the road for a long time before loading her onto a stretcher and placing her in an ambulance. She was then taken to a medical facility for treatment. Her current condition is unknown at the time of writing.
The driver of the semi-truck was injured, though less severely; it does not appear they were taken to a hospital. However, they reported shoulder pain and were receiving medical attention at the scene.
