Reno, NV (August 21, 2024) It was 9:30 p.m. in Reno, Nevada on Monday night, August 19th, 2024, when a woman was struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian vs. vehicle collision occurred on Manhatten Street and left the woman with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, according to reports.
According to reports, the woman was unloading groceries from her car as a vehicle approached. It was 9:30 at night and darkness had spread over Reno. Suddenly, the vehicle struck the woman, knocking her to the ground. The driver of the at-fault vehicle then fled the scene, leaving the woman injured on the road. The groceries she dropped lay around her, reports indicated.
Officers with the Reno Police Department arrived at the scene and found the woman on the ground. Reports indicated that she was injured, but the injuries weren’t life-threatening, which was a bit of good news for authorities as well as the victim’s family and friends.
