San Jose, CA (October 24, 2024) A woman suffered critical injuries on October 12th, after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in San Jose. The heinous accident occurred on East San Carlos Street, not far from South Fourth Street and Highway 280 South. It happened at approximately 1:20 a.m. and left the woman in critical condition.
It was what many would consider the middle of the night, as a female pedestrian made her way through the city of San Jose. She began crossing East San Carlos Street and a vehicle approached her, heading south. The vehicle, described as a dark-colored sedan, struck the pedestrian and then continued driving.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the woman on the ground with critical injuries and requested an ambulance. Paramedics rushed the woman to a local hospital to receive treatment. Officers are asking for the public’s help in finding the driver responsible for this hit-and-run accident.
