SAN DIEGO, CA (NOVEMBER 27, 2023): 42-year-old Stephen Debow has been pronounced dead after being severely injured by a vehicle in a pedestrian accident in North Park in the San Diego neighborhood.
San Diego Authorities reported that Debow had been hospitalized since the evening of Tuesday, November 20th when he was struck by a vehicle while walking in the intersection of Polk Avenue and Utah Street. Debow, from Del Mar, was discovered by responding paramedics in critical condition and was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital.

Unfortunately, Debow succumbed to his injuries and died at the facility early Monday morning at around 3:30 a.m., according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office. It is unclear what the exact cause of death was.
A description of the vehicle or their involvement in any pending investigations has not yet been clarified. San Diego authorities will continue to work to discover the exact cause of this fatal pedestrian accident that killed Stephen Debow.
