San Jose, CA (June 14, 2024) A very sad accident occurred on Friday. A car driving on Highway 87 in San Jose struck a pedestrian. The impact was so severe that the pedestrian lost their life.
According to California Highway Patrol, they were alerted about the incident at around 2:50 a.m. They were informed that somebody was lying near Highway 87’s northbound off ramp, which leads to Taylor Street. When they arrived at the scene, they found the victim dead.

Authorities immediately closed the area for investigation into the devastating crash. They shut down the northbound lanes of the road so that they could try to figure out what happened. At present, the identity of the pedestrian is unknown. It is also unclear who the driver is, what kind of vehicle they were driving, or whether or not they stayed at the scene.
