Sacramento, CA (July 10, 2024) A situation is unfolding in Sacramento with very few details being released in the initial reports. So far, all we know is that a fatal accident occurred in the southern area of the city on Tuesday, July 9.
California Highway Patrol reports that a vehicle struck a pedestrian near Gerber and Elk Grove Florin Roads. The circumstances surrounding the crash have not been made available.
A spokesman said that police do not yet know where exactly the collision happened or what led up to it. However, we do know that the pedestrian tragically passed away.
The driver of the unknown vehicle that hit the pedestrian remained on the scene. It has not been reported that they sustained any injuries. The identity of the victim has not been released.
