Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and found the female pedestrian on the ground, unresponsive. Paramedics rushed to give her life-saving treatment but there was nothing they could do. With heavy hearts, they pronounced the woman dead at the scene. A tarp was gently placed over her body and they called for a coroner to come to the scene.
