FRESNO, CA (JULY 24, 2023): Detectives are investigating a deadly hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian Friday evening. The California Highway Patrol reports that the pedestrian was waking west on Dudley Avenue, east of Valentina street, when the driver fatally struck the man. The crash occurred at around 10:30 p.m.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Little is known about the nature of the incident, and authorities urge those with pertinent information regarding the collision to come forward.
