Fresno, CA (August 14, 2023) A woman died after being hit by a vehicle early Monday morning in Fresno. Fresno Police Department reported that they were called to the scene of an accident at approximately 1:50 a.m. The victim was walking an the driver, unable to see her in the dark, hit her.

The accident occurred at Shields Avenue and Clovis. Officers said they arrived to find a woman laying in the road after being hit by a male driver. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver stayed at the accident site and cooperated with the police officers. No drugs or alcohol were involved in this collision.
