Valencia, CA (August 24, 2023) A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle late Wednesday morning in Valencia, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

First responders received reports of a collision involving a pedestrian around 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday. Kaitlyn Aldana, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department, said the collision occurred at the 25700 block of McBean Parkway not far from Henry Mayo Hospital.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital in unknown condition, according to Aldana. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. This accident is currently under investigation.
