Orangevale, CA (July 3, 2024)
A sad accident occurred in Orangevale on Monday morning. It was about 7:50 a.m., and a man was standing on the center median of a roadway. It was located on Hazel Avenue.
A woman was driving her car south on Hazel and was going through an intersection on Greenback Lane.
For unknown reasons, her Ford Fusion struck the man. Emergency teams rushed the pedestrian to the hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries. It is unclear how old he was.
California Highway Patrol has reported that they don’t believe alcohol or drugs contributed to this crash. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing.
