North Hollywood, CA (July 8, 2024) Officers are still searching for a driver who hit a pedestrian and fled the scene on Wednesday, July 3. The collision took place at about 4:35 p.m.
The driver of a white, four-door Infiniti was going East on Sherman Way near Coldwater Canyon. They hit a pedestrian who was using a crosswalk, then fled the scene.
When EMS arrived, the pedestrian was suffering severe injuries. They rushed them to a hospital. At the time of writing, their condition is unknown.
Authorities in Los Angeles are asking anyone with information about this crash to give them a call. The LAPD are offering the person who provides information that leads to the hit-and-run driver a reward of up to $25,000.
The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
