(Chula Vista, CA) Authorities have identified both the victim and a suspect following a fatal North Greensview Drive collision involving a hit-and-run that occurred Sunday evening, January 11.
The Chula Vista Police Department said officers responded around 5:30 p.m. to the area of North Greensview Drive and Park Meadows Road. When police arrived, they found Ruizhi You, 70, on the roadway. Officers determined she had been struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

Officers booked her into the Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter. Police did not release information about whether alcohol, drugs, or speed contributed to the crash.
