(Los Angeles, CA) A man in his early 60s died in a La Brea Avenue hit and run crash in the West Adams area of Los Angeles.
On Sunday, August 3, at around 9:15 p.m., the La Brea Avenue hit and run crash occurred. According to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center, it happened on La Brea Avenue and Adams Boulevard.
When officers investigated, they learned a vehicle drove northbound on La Brea Avenue. All of a sudden, the vehicle struck a man walking outside the crosswalk. The driver fled the scene, not stopping to help the struck pedestrian. By the time first responders arrived at the crash site, they pronounced him dead.
