(Long Beach, CA) An Atlantic Avenue crash killed Jaime Ferrera, 46, in Long Beach.
On Friday, August 1, at 9:05 p.m., the Atlantic Avenue crash occurred. According to the Long Beach Police Department, it happened in the area of Atlantic Avenue and 36th Street.
When police investigated, they learned a vehicle drove southbound on Atlantic Avenue. At some point, it struck Jaime Ferrera, who was crossing the street. By the time paramedics arrived, they pronounced Ferrera dead at the Atlantic Avenue crash site. The driver remained at the collision site and cooperated with the investigation.
Ferrera’s family set up a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral expenses.
