(Healdsburg, CA) An accident with a pickup truck resulted in the death of a pedestrian in Healdsburg.
On Thursday, May 22 at 2:33 p.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of the Highway 101 collision. It occurred on the highway just south of Westside Road.
When CHP officers investigated the incident, they learned the pedestrian walked on the southbound right shoulder when all of a sudden, they turned left into the traffic lanes. At that moment, a Ford F-150 pickup truck collided with the pedestrian, leaving them with fatal injuries.
When authorities arrived, they pronounced the pedestrian dead as a result of the Highway 101 collision. The driver of the Ford had pulled over and stayed at the scene, cooperating with the investigation.
