Lynwood, CA (August 2, 2024) A tragic collision occurred on Thursday, August 1 that left a young woman deceased.
The crash took place on the transition road between the Long Beach (710) Freeway and the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway.
It happened around 1:43 a.m. The circumstances surrounding the crash are not clear at this time, but we know one pedestrian was involved. 28-year-old Erica Pleasant was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s unknown at this time if any other injuries occurred in this crash. Details about the other vehicles involved in this collision have not been released yet.
