Lancaster, CA (October 14, 2023) A child was struck by a vehicle on Friday, October 13th, in front of an Elementary School in Lancaster, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. They received the call shortly after 3:30 p.m. about an accident involving a pedestrian at Jack Northrop Elementary School in Lancaster.

It happened at the intersection of Challenger Way and East Avenue K-2. Emergency Crews arrived to find a child that had been hit by a vehicle. The child was rushed by AMR ambulance to Antelope Valley Medical Center, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Deputies are investigating and were overheard requesting access to video cameras to determine what exactly happened.
