Authorities said a pickup hit a car before it struck the boy who was walking with his family. This terrible accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on C Street, officers said. The driver of the pickup fled the scene after the accident.
A boy and his family were walking together on C Street in Perris on the evening of Wednesday, February 14th. Suddenly, a pickup came down the road, approaching the family. As it neared 3rd Street, it struck a car and then continued forward until it hit the boy. The force knocked the boy down and his family watched in horror as the pickup drove away.
