(Palmdale, CA) A 31-year-old man from Lancaster lost his life in a deadly Avenue N collision on Friday evening that involved four vehicles and ended with two arrests, according to the California Highway Patrol.
On Friday, September 19, at about 5:10 p.m., officers responded to reports of a serious crash near Avenue N and 22nd Street West. Investigators said a 25-year-old man, identified as K. Littiz of Compton, was driving a 2008 Mercedes-Benz westbound at high speed. He attempted to pass another vehicle by using the north shoulder, lost control, and veered into eastbound lanes.
The Mercedes first collided with a 2021 Lexus IS and then struck a 2022 Honda HR-V head-on. A 2019 Honda Accord also sustained damage from flying debris. Tragically, the 31-year-old Lancaster man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three others, including a 32-year-old Palmdale man, suffered injuries ranging from moderate to severe and were transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center. Littiz and his passenger, 22-year-old K.
