Jurupa Valley, CA (October 13, 2024) 23-year-old Alex Grace was walking in Jurupa Valley on Friday evening, October 11th, 2024, when he was struck and killed by a hit-and-run vehicle. The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Pyrite Street and Mission Boulevard.
The dark, night sky covered Jurupa Valley on Friday evening as 23-year-old Alex Grace walked along the evening streets. As he walked, a vehicle approached, and without warning, struck Grace near Pyrite Street and Mission Boulevard. The vehicle then fled the scene, according to police reports, leaving Grace behind with life-threatening injuries.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department arrived at the scene and found the victim on the ground. They reported that the victim had “obvious signs of death” following the accident. Sadly, they pronounced 23-year-old Alex Grace dead at the scene and called for a coroner.

Officers gathered as much evidence as the could find and are determined to find the vehicle that struck Grace. In doing so, they hope to bring the responsible driver to justice for this deadly hit-and-run accident in Jurupa Valley.
