Fresno, CA (July 15, 2024) An unidentified woman was tragically killed after being hit by a motorcycle on Friday, July 12.
Details are still unfolding as police investigate this accident, which happened sometime around 9 p.m. Fresno officers were alerted to a motorcycle crash on Sierra Vista and Shields Avenue.
The motorcyclist was a man in his thirties. It was determined that he suffered a broken arm in the crash. As he was treated for his injuries at the scene, he told officers he believed he hit a person who was in the road.
After a search, police located a woman in her forties who was rushed to the hospital. Sadly, she passed away. It’s unclear where they found her or what the circumstances surrounding the crash are.
