(Yuba City, CA) A Highway 99 collision resulted in the death of Timothy Daniel, 61, in the southern area of Yuba City.

On Thursday, July 30, at about 8:45 a.m., the Highway 99 collision occurred. According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on Highway -99 and Bogue Road.

When officers investigated they learned Amarjit Singh, 65, of Yuba City drove a white Nissan Rogue. All of a sudden, he collided head-on with Timothy Daniel, who rode a Harley Davidson motorcycle. 

By the time paramedics arrived, they found Singh with minor injuries, and his 33-year-old male passenger reportedly not complaining of any injuries. First responders transported Daniel to Adventist Health/Rideout Medical Center, where he later died at 9:18 a.m. Officers said neither drugs nor alcohol were considered factors in the Highway 99 collision.
