Van Nuys, CA (September 6, 2024) – A motorcyclist was tragically killed last night on Sherman Way and Ranchito Avenue in Van Nuys.
At about 11:12 p.m., an SUV and the motorcyclist were driving in the same direction. The SUV then attempted a U-turn, and the motorcyclist slammed into the vehicle.
A firefighter tried to perform CPR on the victim, but they were tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into this collision is ongoing, and more details should unfold soon. The motorcyclist’s name has not been released at this time.
