Apple Valley, CA (November 8, 2023) – A motorcycle rider was severely injured on Monday, November 6th, after being hit in a truck crash on Highway 18 in Apple Valley, California. According to police reports the accident occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m. in the area near Pawnee Road.
Authorities have indicated that a blue and white street bike collided with a semi truck on the highway. Details surrounding the crash are sparse, but it is believed that one vehicle rear ended the other. The motorcyclist was ejected from their vehicle and was found in the roadway.

Paramedics from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District were dispatched to the scene where they provided assistance to the motorcyclist, who sustained severe injuries in the accident. They requested a helicopter to airlift the rider to St. Mary’s Hospital for additional care. The identity and current condition of the motorcyclist are not known.
Police are investigating the circumstances of this truck crash on Highway 18.
