Bakersfield, CA (August 21, 2024) A motorcycle collided with another vehicle in Bakersfield on Tuesday, August 20th, 2024, leaving the motorcyclist with serious injuries. The accident took place on the Edison Highway, near Sterling Road, right around 5:00 p.m.

They hurried to the rider’s side, ready to give them life-saving treatment, if necessary. The rider was conscious and told officers they could move. They then stood to their feet. Paramedics took the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, according to reports.
Officers gathered evidence at the scene and took statements from those involved, as well as witnesses. They are working to uncover what exactly happened on Edison Highway that evening.
