San Francisco, CA (September 4, 2023) A California Highway Patrol Motorcycle Officer and the driver of a sedan were both injured after they crashed. Officials said that collision occurred on Sunday afternoon in San Francisco’s SoMa neighborhood.

The crash was reported around 3:09 p.m. at the intersection of Harrison Street and 3rd Street. The driver of the sedan as well as the motorcycle officer were taken to San Francisco General Hospital with moderate, but not life-threatening, injuries.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation. It is still unknown if the sedan had passengers during the collision.
