(Los Angeles, CA) A Western Avenue hit and run crash resulted in the death of a pedestrian in Los Angeles.

On Tuesday, July 22, a little after 4 a.m., the Western Avenue hit and run crash occurred according to the Los Angeles Police Department. It happened at the intersection of Western Avenue and 54th Street.

When Los Angeles Fire Department personnel arrived, they pronounced a woman dead at the scene. They determined that a vehicle struck a 50-year-old woman. The driver of that vehicle left the scene without stopping to help. A driver of a Metro bus found the woman and reported the victim to the police.
