(North Hollywood, CA) A Lankershim Boulevard hit and run crash resulted in the death of a bicyclist in North Hollywood.
On Monday, July 21, at 10:56 p.m., the Lankershim Boulevard hit-and-run occurred according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s North Hollywood station. It happened on Lankershim Boulevard, just south of Arminta Street.
When officers arrived at the collision site, they learned a silver, older-model Dodge Ram pickup truck drove south on Lankershim. A short while later, the Dodge Ram struck a bicyclist, continuing to drive southbound without stopping to help.
As soon as Los Angeles Fire Department personnel arrived at the Lankershim Boulevard hit and run crash site, they transported the 52-year-old man to a hospital. After arriving at the hospital, the bicyclist succumbed to his injuries.
