(San Diego, CA) A Homedale Street hit-and-run crash resulted in a female pedestrian sustaining major injuries in the Paradise neighborhood of San Diego.

Police said a 59-year-old woman was walking northbound on Homedale. At that moment, a vehicle drove onto the sidewalk, colliding into her. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to help.
When authorities arrived, they found the victim lying on the street. She suffered a fractured fibula and a subdural brain hemorrhage as a result of the Homedale Street hit and run crash. Police expect the victim to survive her injuries.
