Reno, NV (June 5, 2024) A three-vehicle collision on Somersett Parkway left four people injured on Friday night, May 31st. Police officers said the accident was caused by a wrong-way DUI driver and stated that speed was also a factor. The collision took place at approximately 5;00 p.m., just west of Mae Anne Drive.

Vehicles drove along the Somersett Parkway on Friday evening when, suddenly, a pickup truck began driving the wrong way. The pickup collided, head-on, with another pickup truck, according to reports. A white passenger car was also traveling along Somersett Parkway and also struck the wrong-way pickup truck. Officers also said the wrong-way pickup hit a tree in the roundabout, just west of the collision. Officers said that this may have been what caused the pickup to begin driving the wrong way.
