Officers arrived at the intersection and found at least two vehicles with major damage sitting in the middle of the intersection. Debris and glass covered the ground around the vehicles like confetti and traffic had already begun to back up, officers reported. Paramedics hurried to help anyone with injuries and found one woman with serious injuries. She was placed inside an ambulance and taken to a local hospital to receive further treatment for unknown injuries, according to reports.

Investigators began gathering evidence at the scene and took statements from those involved, as well as witnesses.
