The two collided right around 5:45 a.m., according to reports. The impact from the collision caused the van to roll and finally came to a stop in a ditch.
First responders quickly arrived at the scene and found one person with serious injuries inside one of the vehicles. They were loaded into an ambulance and taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment, officers reported. A tow truck was requested at the scene and the van had to be pulled from the ditch before it could be hauled away. Investigators took statements at the scene and gathered evidence.
