Perris, CA (October 8, 2024) A two-vehicle collision occurred on Saturday afternoon, just before 4:30 p.m., in Perris. The two vehicles collided at the intersection of Perris Boulevard and Morgan Street. The accident left two people with serious injuries and caused significant traffic issues in the area, reports indicated.
At approximately 4:28 p.m. on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, two vehicle collided at a Perris intersection. For reasons that remain unknown, the vehicles both entered the intersection at the same time and collided. The vehicles both sustained major damage and came to a stop, blocking the intersection. Debris was also thrown all over the roadway, causing traffic hazards for motorists.
The Riverside County Fire Department arrived at the scene and found one person trapped inside one of the vehicles. Firefighters used special tools to extricate the victim and paramedics were standing by to take them to a nearby hospital for treatment. Another person had sustained serious injuries in the accident and was also transported to a hospital, via ambulance.

Officers gathered evidence and took statements from those at the scene before tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the intersection. Crews worked to remove all of the debris and glass from the roadway, allowing traffic to resume normally. They are still working to determine not only what caused this accident, but also who was responsible.
