Sacramento, CA (August 8, 2024) Two vehicles collided on Belvedere Avenue in Sacramento on Wednesday morning, August 7th. The collision left a woman with injuries, officers reported. It happened near 82nd Street just before 10:00 a.m.
It was 9:49 a.m. on August 7th as vehicles drove through Sacramento. On Belvedere Avenue, not far from 82nd Street, two vehicles collided, officers reported. The two damaged vehicles came to a stop in the middle of the roadway, blocking traffic. Dispatchers received the 911 call and the Sacramento Police Department headed to the scene.
Upon arrival, they found the two vehicles, surrounded by debris, sitting in the middle of the road. Officers went to the two vehicles, checking inside each one for occupants that had been injured. They found a woman in one of the vehicle who had sustained serious injuries, reports indicated. The extent of her injuries has not been disclosed, however, officers requested an ambulance at the scene. The woman was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment for her injuries.

Officers requested a tow truck to remove at least one of the damaged vehicles from the roadway. Evidence was gathered at the scene and officers spoke with those involved, as well as any witnesses in the area.
