The accident took place at the intersection of 6th Street and K Street right around 5:45 p.m., according to reports. The collision left one of the vehicles on its roof, officers said.

It was Wednesday evening in the California town of Arcata as vehicles moved along streets and roads at a steady pace. At the intersection of 6th Street and K Street, however, two vehicles suddenly collided around 5:44 p.m. Officers are still not certain what led to this two-vehicle crash, but they do know that it left two people with moderate to serious injuries. One of the vehicles involved overturned during the accident, stopping on its roof.
