Temecula, CA (July 8, 2024) A tragic accident occurred between two vehicles on Friday, July 5, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
A man named Glenmar Salcedo from Manifee was tragically killed in the collision. He was 55. He was driving near Rancho California Road and the Interstate 15 overpass when for unknown reasons, he drove his Hyundai into oncoming traffic.
The head-on crash caused the second vehicle to be pushed into yet another car. It’s unknown how many total drivers and passengers were involved in this collision, but at least two people from the second and third cars were transported to a local hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Authorities reported that they don’t believe intoxication was involved in this incident, and they have not determined why Salcedo drove his vehicle into oncoming traffic.
