Berkeley, CA (August 4, 2023) A man who was involved in a large brawl was arrested Thursday night for ramming his car into a police cruiser in Berkeley. The Berkeley Police Department said they responded to the 2200 block of Bonar Street on July 28th for a report on a “large group of males” fighting. A second fight broke out at Strawberry Creek Park. This is where officers tried to stop a white sedan, whose driver was involved in the brawls.

Instead of stopping, the driver of the white sedan sped up, ramming one of the Berkeley police cruisers. The car then reversed and crashed into a parked car that was uninvolved. The driver then accelerated once more and slammed into a fence. The driver was eventually arrested and book into Berkeley Jail.
It appears no one was injured, but the driver of the white sedan left a wake of destruction to property in his path.
