Santa Cruz, CA (August 24, 2023) – A severe head-on crash on State Route 129 occurred on Wednesday, August 24th, in Santa Cruz resulting in serious injuries. The crash was reported around 5:41 a.m. at 1853 State Route 129.
A large diesel truck and a passenger car collided head on on the highway. The cause of the collision is unknown at this time. The impact caused one vehicle to veer into a nearby ditch, while the other vehicle caught fire.
