      Several Seriously Injured In Las Vegas Collision On Lake Mead Boulevard

      Las Vegas, NV (May 20, 2024) The community of northwest Las Vegas was left in shock on Saturday evening, following a serious accident that left several people with life-threatening injuries. The traumatic, two-vehicle collision occurred just before 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Michael Way, according to reports.

      Vehicles in northwest Las Vegas went through the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and Michael Way with east on Saturday, May 18th. However, two vehicles suddenly collided at the intersection, for reasons unknown, just before 6:00 p.m., according to officers. The intersection was blocked by the two vehicles involved and officers were forced to shut down both Lake Mead Boulevard and Michael Way in both directions.

      The streets of northwest Las Vegas were filled with sirens and flashing emergency lights as police officers and paramedics hurried to the scene. They found the two vehicles in the middle of the intersections with serious damage. Paramedics quickly went to the vehicles to see if anyone was in need of medical attention and found several people with life-threatening injuries. They began carefully placing the victims on stretchers and loading them into ambulances before rushing the mall to local hospitals to receive treatment.

      The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Traffic Bureau Investigators arrived at the scene to gather evidence and investigate this collision. Once the investigation was complete, officers called tow trucks to come and remove the badly damaged vehicles from the scene. They will work to determine what caused this two-vehicle collision in northwest Las Vegas and also hope to discover who was at fault.
