(Burbank, CA) A pedestrian sustained critical injuries in a two-vehicle Riverside Drive collision in Burbank.
On Thursday, August 7, at about 8:30 p.m., the Riverside Drive collision occurred. According to the Burbank Police Department, the crash happened in the 4200 block of Riverside Drive.
When officers received initial reports, they learned a major crash occurred at 8:35 p.m. By the time they arrived at the incident site, they found a pedestrian on the ground, as well as the entire hood of a sedan stuck in a building by 4542 Riverside Drive.
As police investigated, they discovered two vehicles collided at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Rose Street. As a result, one of the vehicles veered off and struck a pedestrian standing at a corner. After colliding with the pedestrian, they crashed into the side of a business.
Once paramedics arrived at the Riverside Drive collision site, they transported the victim to a hospital with major injuries. Police reported she was conscious and responsive throughout the incident, expecting her to recover.
