Oakland, CA (March 11, 2024) A head-on collision claimed a woman’s life early Sunday morning in Oakland. It all happened on Joaquin Miller Road right around 5:00 a.m., officers reported.
A red, two-door Infinity was driving south on Joaquin Miller Road as a brown, four-door Honda approached it from the north. They both met at the 3400 block and the Infinity hit the Honda head-on. Both vehicles sustained major damage and officers reported that the occupants of both vehicles were injured during the crash.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found the rear passenger of the Honda with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics with the Oakland Fire Department and Falck Ambulance, rushed to give aid to the woman. They did everything they could, but sadly, her injuries were too severe. The 25-year-old resident of Oakland was pronounced dead at the scene.
