    One Killed, Three Children Injured In NW Las Vegas Crash

    Las Vegas, NV (June 17, 2024) Sadness spread through northwest Las Vegas on Sunday, June 16th, following a collision that claimed a woman’s life and injured three juveniles. It all happened on Cheyenne Avenue, not far from Interstate 215, officers reported. The accident took place around 9:40 a.m. when the woman driving the vehicle lost control.

    Vehicles were traveling at a steady pace on Interstate 215 on Sunday morning, June 16th, when a single-vehicle collision occurred, reports indicated. A woman was driving a vehicle with three children as passengers on Cheyenne Avenue, when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed. The cause of this collision is still unknown, according to reports.

    The Nevada State Police Officers arrived at the scene and found the vehicle with major damage. Officers hurried to the vehicle and found the driver, a woman, unresponsive. Paramedics were prepared to give life-saving treatment to the woman, but unfortunately, she had been killed in the accident. Sadly, authorities pronounced her dead at the scene. The three juveniles in the vehicle were found with injuries, reports indicated. All three were loaded into ambulances by paramedics and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have reported that the three children remain in stable condition following the Las Vegas accident.

    Officers had to close eastbound Cheyenne Avenue from Interstate 215 to Shadow Peak Road for several hours as they investigated the scene. Officers had to request a tow truck to come to the scene and remove the vehicles and debris was also removed from the roadway. Officers continue to work to determine what exactly happened to cause this fatal accident in northwest Las Vegas on Sunday morning.
