The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and found the two damaged vehicles. They quickly checked to see if anyone had been injured and found at least one person with injuries, according to reports. Paramedics transported the person to a local hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Officers had to help block a portion of the interstate and encouraged drivers to take alternate routes.
